Kitt Ballenger is a Mexican-American artist who resides in San Antonio, Texas. They are currently working on attaining their BFA from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a concentration in Ceramics. Ballenger's work is centered on her relationships with others and exploring unique textures. They represent these themes by making sculptures made with paint, ceramics, fabrics, and vinyl. A common element throughout their works is the use of thread. Ballenger uses thread as a way to bind materials together much like how people connect with others.
